We are thrilled to be a participating charity in the Disney Princess 5K and 10K. The Loukoumi Make A Difference Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit that is inspired by the acclaimed 10 book children’s book series by Nick Katsoris about a fluffy little lamb named Loukoumi (named after the sweet candy) that just wants to make the world a better place! We envision a future in which all children have the opportunity to make a difference in their lives and the lives of others. We encourage children and young adults to make a difference in their own lives by following their career dreams and to make a difference in the lives of others by paying forward their talents through community service projects – all while having fun in the process. Each year we work with over 150,000 children in 30 countries around the world to inspire a new generation of service leaders. The children engage in good deed projects for causes they are passionate about. They learn that philanthropy can be fun and in the process it significantly improves their self-esteem, mental health and overall happiness. In addition, we sponsor a good deed curriculum in over 300 schools, the Loukoumi Foundation Treatment Room at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a Teaching Kitchen for the homeless at the Floating Hospital and a Never Forget Letter Mailbox outside Town Hall in Gander, Newfoundland Canada for families who lost loved ones on 9-11.

Minimum Fundraising Goal: $500 per runner ($110 registration not included) for the 5K and $600 per runner ($150 registration not included) for the 10K

Official Rules
1. Eligibility & Participation
Registrations are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Participation is open to runners who commit to meeting the $500 (5K) or $600 (10K) minimum fundraising requirement
2. Registration Fee
A non-refundable $100 registration fee is required to begin fundraising. This $110/$150 payment must be made on the Frontstream platform at the registration link above or below.
The registration fee does not count toward the $500 (5k)/$600 (10k) fundraising minimum.
3. Fundraising Commitment
The full fundraising minimum of $500 (5K) / $600 (10K) must be met by January 4, 2027.
If the minimum is not met by the deadline, the remaining balance will be charged to the credit card on file.
All registrations are non-cancellable and non-transferable.
By registering, participants agree to fulfill the fundraising commitment regardless of participation status or ability to run.
4. runDisney Registration Link
The official runDisney registration link will be provided once 50% of the fundraising minimum has been reached.
Runners must email bsophia@loukoumifoundation.org once they reach this milestone to receive the link.
The link must be used no later than 30 days prior to race day.
If not used by the deadline, the registration becomes void and non-redeemable, and no refunds or replacements will be issued.
Please note: the runDisney registration link is not yet available for this race, but will be provided to registered runners as soon as runDisney releases them to us.
5. Race Bib & Official Registration
After reaching 50% of the fundraising minimum and completing official runDisney registration, participants will receive race communications directly from runDisney.
Race bibs must be picked up in person at the runDisney Expo prior to race day.
Bibs must be collected by the registered runner only.
