LOUKOUMI ON BROADWAY with
PRESENT LAUGHTER
The Loukoumi Make A Difference Foundation presented Oscar and 3 time Tony Award winner Kevin Kline with our Loukoumi Make A Difference Award for his stellar career (including films like Sophie's Choice, A Fish Called Wanda, The Big Chill) and his dedication to causes like Juvenile Diabetes. At the "Loukoumi On Broadway" event over 60 people attended Mr. Kline's play Present Laughter followed by a reception at Sardi's, also attended by Present Laughter co-star Peter Francis James. Proceeds from the event enabled the Loukoumi Foundation to donate books for the Open Door Family Medical Centers waiting room libraries for their Reach Out And Read Program. Special thanks to Peter Francis James, Jillian Nelson, Alexandra Colombos, Mamie Stathatos-Fulgieri, all our guests for supporting this event and to Kevin Kline for a dynamic performance worthy of the standing ovation he received (and the Tony award for Best Actor) and for being so gracious throughout the evening.
