Loukoumi Foundation Partners with the New York Mets

The Loukoumi Foundation has been honored to work with the NY Mets on several occasions starting in September 2018 when we were the Charity of the Game at CitiField (Top Right).  In June 2022, we partnered with the NY Mets for our Good Deed of the Month Zoom where our good deed project that month was the NY Mets Summer Food Drive. Then on July 11, 2022 over 100 members of our organization delivered over 1,000 food items to the Mets Summer Food Drive benefiting The River Fund NY (Top Right and Below). In October 2022 we again collaborated with the River Fund for Make A Difference With Loukoumi Day where children assembled care packages for the homeless at our event at The Variety Boys and Girls Club of Queens, a partner organization where we provide after school programming. At the event we were especially excited to have a guest appearance from Mr. Met, who lent a hand to the kids to pack backpacks and also assisted in the presentation of our donation to sponsor the Loukoumi Foundation Teaching Kitchen at the Floating Hospital in Long Island City.
